About the project
Andrea Fapassion is a Slovak photographer and styling artist with a provocative and colorful style. She needed a portfolio to showcase her work to models and collaborators within the art world. I designed the website and implemented it with WordPress.
Visual identity
I went with a clean design to let Andrea’s work shine. I chose a dark, spacy background color and a slightly futuristic font to create an experience of being in Andrea’s own space world. I added pink details to match Andrea’s style.
A simple, yet special portfolio
I built a minimalistic layout to let Andrea’s work stand out on its own. I went for a straightforward structure, where you can’t get lost. To reflect the playful nature of Andrea’s work I added dashes of pink, and subtle details such as the overlapping navigation and the logo cursor.

Explore Andrea’s work
On the gallery pages, I added simple next, previous, and close buttons to give the users freedom to easily explore all of Andrea’s beautiful work.

Nicolai designed my portfolio. The result was a beautiful website that’s also easy to use. He managed to create a website that spot-on shows my style and personality, and he was very helpful in teaching me how to upload photos to my new fancy website.
